Rise Education Offers a Fresh Approach to Alternative Education.

We offer a truly trauma informed, therapeutic service, where every child is recognised for their unique qualities. Educational pathways and mentoring support is tailored to meet the needs of each child, drawing on their individual strengths, so they can flourish just as they are.

Preventing Exclusion is Our Primary Focus.

We know the traditional school structure is not right for every child, but wherever possible our goal is to support the child to retain their place in mainstream education.

We work with the child, their school, and their primary carers, to ensure we develop a contextual action and support plan. The intervention for each child will be different depending on the child’s needs. For some this might be short term one to one mentoring, for others this might be a referral to our intensive time-limited programme.

Emotional Intelligence - Skills for Life

Embedded into our interventions is psycho-education. We support the child to really get to know themselves, explore their experiences, and understand how the world around them has helped to shape them.

The child can really get to understand their inner narratives, their core beliefs about - themselves, others, and the world they live in, and start to look at where they feel change might be necessary.

Each child will learn their own stressors and be taught techniques to help them to recognise and regulate their emotions and behaviour.  In turn, by developing these skills, their understanding of others will grow.
